2014 Ram 1500 driver door won’t open

I just went to get into my truck tonight and noticed my drivers door won’t open. The exterior handle senses that’s my hand is behind it and unlocks. However I can’t open the door from the outside. I have to go to the passenger side and open the drivers door from the inside. The door worked earlier today. Any idea what could be causing this?

Connecting rod for the handle may have come unattached inside. I just had to fix the rod for the lock. Easy if u can't get the door off.
