Hey guys,

Thought I'd share an install I did with my LED pod lights. 73d018bd3ba960b033267964364d2936.jpg
This is the kit I bought.
The bracket is from altered Offroad in red deer Alberta $85

They had the H10 to deutsch plug and play harness for $11 each

I used the speed demon amber pods. They each have a 2720 lumen output for a total of 10880 lumens for the 4 pods

Also bought the Amber covers from speed demon at $7 each

All in all it was a fairly easy install. My biggest issue was trying to find the Amber color to match the DRL lights on the Ram. Got pretty close, but did pick up some turn signal Amber model paint to put on the light itself to get it right on.

I've been wanting to do this install for awhile actually. Looks like a fairly straight forward clean install.

When I did this install, I found it a PIA to try and aim the pods. I ended up pulling them off and putting the stock housing back on with LED bulbs. Turned out way brighter and cleaner looking in my opinion

I didn't have aiming problems; snugged em up in the brackets, installed the brackets, aimed the lights, removed the brackets and reference marked everything, then tightened it all up with loctite making sure the reference marks were still aligned. A couple of extra steps, but they've been in for several years and no alignment issues so far.

I went slightly (lol) more complicated with my wiring setup...

I put in the same LED's you did. Did you find the new LED's were as bright as your pods?

When I did something similar a year ago. Put in 7" led bars in each fog light hole using the factory bracket. Didnt need to spend for the harness nor the brackets plus more output than the dual cubes.

EDIT. Kudo on the yellow low wavelength output filter, works a treat to be seen in poor visibility conditions.

Looking to purchase the same kit! Wondering what you recommend for the pods? Site has tons of different options and not sure which one is adequate! Any opinions are appreciated

Hey man any pics of this installed? I just had driver fog light die totally. Had some led bulbs in there that looked great but had issues w river side since day 1. Got new bulb same crap. Got extra canbus harnesses now that side went out completely. From what i researched there is no fuse for fog lights and prob caused a short on some computer works w fuse panel. Idk pia. I'm going to return the led bulbs and harnesses i want to do what you did and wire power to remaining fog.

I'm actually really happy you posted this up. I'm looking g to do the same exact thing but I didn't know speed demon has the color lenses you could get. I'm wanting to black my out a bit so this setup is absolutely perfect. Thanks for sharing this.

Speed demon didn't have the bracket you needed? Is that why you went with altered off-road?
