Ok guys I am going to swap the jump seat I have now for a center console. As of this week I have started ordering parts based on list I put together with Benny's help. Next post will be the parts I ordered. Goal is to swap everything out then follow up with Katzkin leather. According to my vin my interior is diesel grey but I'm considering a black armrest as it will match up good with black leather...over next month I will update this thread accordingly. Could use forums feedback on black vs diesel gray armrest?

    My parts list is

And final product will look like this with either diesel grey or black arm rest ImageUploadedByTapatalk1455921592.535874.jpg

As far as install goes all I know is I'm winging it. Remove driver seat then take from there. Any feedback from members that have performed this mod would be appreciated ...

Today I removed old bezel (remove two t20 screws) and pry away. Then removed 4 screws holding bottom on existing console off. Once screws out I snapped off and unplugged the usb and cig lighter.

Next I took all transferable parts out of old bezel and moved to new bezel

    Next I reinstalled new bezel

Tomorrow I will install console. It looking like mounting bracket may be a pain. I'll have o try and find some nuts and washers to hold this on [IMG]
Then I move to balance of parts [IMG]

This am I tightened four bolts that hold console then snapped end caps on and now I'm done. Everything works 100%

Good point. Purpose of his thread isn't to tell anyone how to buy it but how to install. I appreciate the feedback !

I've seen eBay sellers selling complete conversion kits lately for $700-$1000. Everything you need.

You can then turn around and recoup some or all of your cosy's by selling the jumpsuit and bezels.

I swapped a console into my 3rd gen which was pretty simple. On the 4th gen I had to find one that came from the factory with it. They look so good.
