2nd gen to 3rd gen dash swap

I need to change out my dash due to heavy-****** prior owner. Will a 2002 dash assembly fit in my 2000 Ram 1500?

only if it is from a 2500 or 3500, the 1500 2002 dash is wayyyy different.

There is a kid in the south that fits a 2017 dash in his 2nd gen. Looks really cool.

Make sure not to use the crappy 3rd gen dash cap if you do because they always crack into pieces, get an aftermarket one if you do. It's one case where OEM is garbage.
