I have a 1990 D150 with a 3.9 v6 and I found a 360 I want to swap into it. The 360 is a 1993. I can get the computer, harness, fuel system, exhaust, etc.

Main question is- will it work with the 5 speed manual transmission from my 1990 v6?

Check on allpar. I believe the same 5speed was used across the board.

if you can get the fuel tank of the 93 take it also. it will physically bolt up buy you may need to figure out what trans it has so you can find a 5.9 flywheel that will work with the trans. the 5.9 are externally balanced so you need to get a flywheel that is balanced for them. also if it is not out of a truck yet see about getting the motor mount extension plate. the v8's had a motor mount extension plate that bolted in on the drivers side that the v6's didn't have since they were shorter. the piece just bolts in. without it you can't swap in a v8.
