Towing a 4K boat on tandom axle, flat road and into the 3rd hour it felt like the trailer had a flat tire. Peddle was not responding over 60 mph. Had no problem getting to that speed. Had driven that time in OD. That seamed to work no down shifting caring that speed. Had new fuel filter before trip and also trans serviced.1999 2500 5.9 with 75k on her. Any ideas?

Sounds like an apps or map sensor issue. No issues without the load on?

No all good there.
Been about two weeks now and looked at the MPG and it was down to 14 and normal is 19. Reset and will look at that in a few days.

Accelerator pedal position sensor. Probably called a Throttle Position Sensor on that old thing, although APPS is more accurate name.

Not saying that is or isn't your issue, just clarifying names.
