So, I knew this would be challenging, but I'm hitting some road blocks.

Items: 3 way toggle switch, relay, and HID lights.

Goal: wire the lights for on, off and on w/ headlights. That way if I turn my head lights off they go off (& on when on) and I can override with the flip of the toggle.

    So far, stuck! Lmao!

My 3 way switch has 3 wire posts. My relay has 4. My headlight is normal gen1 ram.

Any diagram and/or even hand drawn would be helpful.

I wasted a half hour on this tonight when I should have been installing my truck carpet!

Need a little clarification, Off (everything), headlights only On, and finally headlights on with running lights. Is that what you want?

so you got a 3 position switch and don't know how to wire it up? this should be easy. hook constant power and headlight power to the outer pins and hook the inner pins to the relay.
