I enquired to S&B Filters last week, and received a response yesterday that states they will have a CAI available in September; even gave it a part number 75-5087.

That would be a nice kit - would have a fully sealed airbox which will make it quieter and actually be a real CAI like the stock airbox.

I bought the K&N kit a week ago but haven't pulled it out of the box yet - I know it will be much louder under acceleration or towing than the S&B will. May return it but haven't decided yet......decisions.....

I'll believe it when I see it on the R&D site. S&B has been horrible to deal with when inquiring if they will build one. Each time, and I have been asking for over a year now is that they had ZERO interest in building an intake...

Great price on it too, may have to give it a try... at least now we have 3 choices for CAI”s as 6.4 owners.

Just wondering how effective CAIs are on the 6.4? The hose connecting the stock air box is short, wide, and pretty much a straight shot. I replaced my stock filter with an aFe dry filter.

I'm interested to see an install video with side-by-side comparison of the stock air box and S&B. In their video that S&B box looks huge! But it still bottlenecks down to the throttle body. I hope someone gets it soon and does a full review.

Well I bit the bullet and bought the new S&B kit. For $299 vs the $450+ for the AFE and better claimed flow coming out of the S&B I figured what the hell. Looks like a good kit and S&B has nice stuff. Also will pick up Moes ported TB some point down the road.

Will report whenever the hell I get around to installing it.
