I have a 74 D-200 that will need the front suspension built in the near future. Now, I also have a 76 D-300 that I would like to use the front spindles from. Since I'm going to rebuild a front end I had rather build the D-300, since it is set up for a single duel wheel. I put a Dana 60 or 70 with duel wheels under the rear a few years ago. It would be good to match the wheels.
Has anyone done such a swap? Any input? Can I just change the ball joints and spindles? Any known opportunities with such a swap?

Thanks in advance for any info. Got to get started on this one direction or the other.

if both have disk brakes i would probably just try swapping 1 of the rotors over. i am pretty sure the spindles are likely the same or very similar.
