nope. the parts store will have nothing other than the speed control switch which i bet there is nothing wrong with.

ouch. looks like you possibly broke a couple things yanking it out but looks like you might have found what is causing your issue. couple burnt wire right?

I think that was the only thing I broke. There is at least one burnt and one that is disconnected. Not sure where it goes. So I've started looking online for this control module and switch, but I'm coming up bubkiss. Is this gonna be one of those cant find things. I take that back, eBay has the switch that everything plugs into fo $120 bucks.

Of course now I have this problem with that friggin cable.

ya. $120 is what they go for on ebay. the only other option would be possibly finding one used locally or just keep using what you got. is the switch broke or burnt at all?

ya so the switch is likely in pretty bad shape. there is 3 option. you can install some switches to replace it or you can get a solid state relay and install it to power the fan or replace the switch. even if you did replace the switch i would still recommend installing a solid state relay. i would prevent you from ever having that issue again. it takes the load off the stock switch and moved it onto the relay.

Let me make sure I understand what ur 3 options are
1. Replace switch under the control - period
2. Replace the single switch with multiple "smaller" switches?
3. Replace the switch with a solid state relay (not familiar with). Can you elaborate, maybe shoot a pic? How does it tie into elec, cable and vacuum hoses?

option 3 would be keep your old switch and install a solid state relay for the fan. your old switch still work but was burning out. a solid state relay would take pretty much all load off the switch which might keep it working for a long time. this is also why i would suggest installing one even if your replaced the switch with a new one. a solid state relay is just a special type of relay that can actually be used to control the speed of fans. you wire them exactly like you would wire any other relay.

Anybody have any idea where I might find the plastic dash control module for this? None of the regular places (summit, jcwhitney, eBay) seem to have it

Found it on eBay. Guy with screen name of 68superstockdart. Has lots of mopar parts. The switch itself was selling for $110. Got the switch and blower control for $65 ($8 shipping). Shipped right on time and got it 3 days before expected, complete with dirt and grime included. Gonna install today. NOW if it just works ;-).

Oh yea! In my previous post I had shown WOLFIE a piece that I had broken removing the cable. So, in order to keep the cable mount in the controller, I devised this method. See pics.

I think the tiny screw will work nicely. It just prevents the cable control from popping out of its place on top of the controller

Anybody know which connection (top or bottom) this black and red connects to on this blower motor switch. I lost track when I was disconnecting.
