a/c problems

my 2008 ram 2500 6.7 a/c died, clutch does not engage, will free spin by hand so not frozen up. any ideas will be greatly appreciated. thanks

What he said. Without getting a set of AC gauges on it, do not know what you are dealing. Could be leak, pressure switch or myriad of other things.

No magic bullet here but guesses without some more diagnostic info.

Yes, but preliminarily, he can check his low side freon level and service it using a kit found at walmart or any parts store for $30-40. That's less than a diagnostic fee at most places. If that doesn't work, then he knows that is not the issue and can at least rule it out. If I didn't have the proper tools, that is what I would do.

all freon levels are good, clutch does not have any power going to it. Can anyone recommend or have any idea where a person can get a wiring schematic for ac on a
2008 dodge 6.7 diesel sxt

Did you get to the issue. My 2011 Cummins shows two different voltage readings on the hot wire side of connector to ac clutch

Bought 07 QC 4x4 G56 some 18 months ago with 312,000 on it well below market. All the wear items needed replacing. Clutch, brakes, steering box, joints, shocks, belts hoses and so on.. of course I have full value in it now. But it drive great and goes anywhere. It has about 330,000 on it now.
