Very new to these switches, do the Contura switches offer a (on) none (on) mode? Where the up position of the rocker switches one device on then the rocker springs back to the middle neutral position, then down will switch another device on and then back to middle. Do the same to switch off. Essentially getting two switches in one v series switch. I would like to be able to control 12 devices from the 6 switches this pod will accommodate.

This is this but I wonder how much of the pod I will have to modify to make it work and look nice

How did you wire yours?

Carefully.....lmao
Its a self contained system. Oem Switch assembly with a fuse/relay box under hood. Plug n play connections to factory wires feeding switch with load side harness to relays. Hot from batt to one side of relay and light wires on other. System is negative (ground) switched like factory

so would all the power leads from the accessories feed into the bottom of the fuse box?

I was actually looking for something like this. I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading my 09 RAM 1500 for something like this. However, I think I can make this idea work for my 79 F-150.

Over the year I started adding more and more electrical items to my truck so I decided to add the AEV 6 position switch pod part number 30601000AA to the dash. I designed a schematic, ran it by @IRSmart a few times to check my plan and started ordering the parts.

The power distribution box is made by littlefuse HWB60 and worked well. I ran the trigger wires inside the fender like the other oem wires are.

The switches are from OTRATTW (Over The River and Thru The Woods)

https://otrattw.net/LOWER-INDEPENDENT-LIGHT-UPPER-DEPENDENT-LIGHT-SWITCH-ONLY/

The rockers are Contura XIV, they have a good feel to them and have a "separation" molded in to distinguish upper or lower.

I used @kad method of entering the cab via a rubber boot.

I routed the wire bundle behind the head unit and up thru the top of the center stack. I then added the mating connector to allow easy removal of the switch pod.

The wiring schematic is perfect. Thank you.

I see the red terminates at the fuse block for power, and you've used a separate color from the relay to the accessory. I guess what I'm after now is a picture of the multi-color wires into the fuse box then.

I use only GXL automotive grade wire made in the USA from wirebarn, you can pick any colors you want it’s just nice to have different colors so you can match it from the switch to the light itself. All the wire in the cab is low amp so you don’t need a heavy gauge, it’s just to trigger the relay. The wires from the box to the lights are thicker gauge since they carry the load.

Lol....sorry I don’t have more pics, I never intended this to be a “how too” since it’s so custom to my setup.

Here’s a schematic of just the power distribution box with wire size and cut lengths, sorry about the pic quality I just printed it and took the pic from my desk at work
