Hello im looking at aftermarket warranties.
If you have one, list how much it cost to buy, any problems, what is not covered by aftermarket, and how much deductibles are. Thanks.

I had one for out to 8 years that I paid like 1800 or something for. They talked me into it when I bought the truck. I ended up cancelling it and refinancing. Most aren't big fans of modding and I am so doesn't really work for me.

And most will insist on using junkyard parts versus new or rebuilt.

I had century warranty. Check reviews for them - all are very bad. It's very uncertain if they'll cover anything on your truck, they can say that it's a pre existing condition which occurred before you bought their warranty...

Other cases I've heard of is that they'll argue with you for any repair and deny it unless it's completely broken.

Don't waste your money on these, it'll be very hard to actually get them to pay for anything and you'll have to fight them each time about it. Many of those third party warranties are scam artists.

If the premium cost is $1200 per year, why not just pay yourself the premium and put away $100 per month in a safe or lock box.

Come repair time, you will not have to deal with a deductable or anything that might be exempt from the warranty.

As an added bonus, cash can be a powerful negotiating tool when it comes to pricing a more expensive repair.

Man i had no idea the aftermarket warranties have gotten so bad. I had one when i was 18 (im 38 now) and never had a problem. They just didnt want to pay the install hours that was called for in the book. They only wanted to pay 6 hours for an 8 hour job. Sounds like im better off just keeping money in the bank for a repair.

I would either get a factory warranty or none at all.
