Loved it but no factory backup camera support and no plug/play Sirius, no thanks. After paying what I'd have to for those to work could just upgrade to the 8.4N.

Yes. Work with iPhone via bluetooth and air play.

8.4 OEM radio has it's advantages, factory production, factory backup camera support, Sirius etc. But not support apps installed, google map and map upgrade is not free.
We give a big discount for members from ramforum. The final price is only 1/4 of 8.4OEM radio.
It depends on what features you need. If you want to use the factory backup camera, then need to rewire. If you want to use the Sirius, then can install a Sirius app. The advantages of our radio are, Android OS based, app support, google map, free offline map update, mirror link and the price.

I dont mean to be negative. I really like the design. I think it looks even better than the 8.4. If you ever add the backup camera and Sirius connectivity I'll buy one in a heartbeat.

What about the factory settings menu, is that accessible?

From what I have read, you have to set your factory settings to your liking before you install this unit. There are a few threads about "radio upgrade", s100, and s160 radios.

So no Sirius unless it's through an app, no oem camera support and no setting controls, I'll stick with my 5.0. I don't really see the point unless you have the non unconnect 3.0.
