Those are the seals for the intake. The seals for the exhaust have a black seal.
Hmm, didn’t know they were different. And quite frankly I don’t understand why they would be. I replaced the seals on the exhaust and intake valves on one cylinder doing some troubleshooting, I used the same seal. And I’m pretty sure I wasn’t too careful putting back in the same place when I rebuilt my heads. But that doesn’t mean I wasn’t wrong..

Beautiful work! Now what are you planning on doing for the intake pipe? And what belt are you using? Is it a custom length belt?

Its 108 inches and it was a pain in the ass to find lol. On the bright side I did figure out how to decide the mysterious world of belt coding. 1080k7 was the exact belt. 1080= length in inches and k7 is the amount of ribs.

With the Pacesetter longtubes, how much work was it to fit to the 6.1 heads?

Its the same bolt pattern. I just welded and shaped the ports to match the d shape. You can just bolt them right up if you choose.
