Wanting to do a level on the front of my truck and retain the factory setup on the rear for towing. Looked at Thuren setups and they look nice but it adds up quick with shocks and springs. I ran across Bilstein's 5112 Suspension Leveling Kit. It is 2" lift springs and Bilstein 5100 shocks. Runs around $400. Anybody have experience with these? Good or Bad? I know the Thuren springs are softer - curious if these are factory spring rate or if they ride better? Would love to get 2" of lift and a better ride!

I've been looking at these, but only want an inch up front due to my trailer. If i got the actual 2.3 inch kit, i would also then need to lift the rear or get bags, and I'm looking to avoid that. I'm curious to see what people's experiences are with these. I had good luck with the 5100s on my 1500.

Following thread too as I want to level just a little up front to keep some of the rake as I tow often in the summer.

I would give Bilstein technical support a call, and ask them about the spring rates. I called them recently about some strut parts, and the gentleman on the line was very knowledgeable about the products.

I just called Bilstein on these. The spring rate they said is "472" How does that compare to stock? They also said they are a linear spring.

Assuming its lbs per inch. I think Thuren's site says factory are 580 and Thurens are like 380 if I remember right. Would love to hear feedback from someone with this setup on a gasser before I buy!
