My 2014 RT has 38k miles on it and three times when driving and pulling up to a red light the truck went into neutral while coming to a complete stop.

The light over the shifter is blinking red. I put it into neutral then back to drive and its okay again. happens every 10k miles of so... so it not something I can have the dodge dealer replicate. And, it did not show up as any kind of glitch when checked at the dealer.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Other than that I luv my truck...

YEP, I've got a truck that is doing the same thing. It is random and cannot be duplicated for the dealer. The issue leaves no codes for the dealer to look at. It is usually not a big problem, but sometimes it can get you into a bad situation when it happens and you really need to move. It only takes a few seconds to correct, but I have found that I have come to a complete stop to get the transmission to reengage and that has put me in a serious situation several times. Other forum members are having the same problem, so you can imagine how many trucks are having this issue and the owners are on this forum. You can expect Ram Care to chime in and offer to make an appointment for you at your local dealer but that is as far as you can go in getting the issue resolved. That is until Ram decides the issue may be a safety hazard and they try to find a solution.

Haven't had this issue, but you might consider registering a complaint with "nashta?" The safety organization. Surprised the dealer didn't at least off to reflssh the computer.

Thanks, that's a good idea.

I have to come to a complete stop as well and stop. Not so great the last time when making a right turn at a busy intersection on a green light.

Hi Bad5.7,

As Hydrasport mentioned, we are happy to document this concern further for you. We would like to assist however we can, and that starts by setting an appointment with your dealer to take a look at your truck. Whether or not you decide to make an appointment, I would still like to document that you are experiencing this concern. Please PM us with your VIN to get started.

How did you make out with this? My truck did it today on a slightly hard stop this morning coming up to a light.

Mine did it yesterday. From what I've read if the rpms drop below a certain number (380?) The computer will put it in neutral to keep it from stalling. I have a P0600 code so I'm thinking my serial link malfunction has something to do with it but who knows.
