Autostart help

Hey guys, this is on my 01 1500 5.9l 360. I am trying to install my autostart myself, I have quite a but of 12volt history and I've installed a few auto start systems before. I am having some issues with mine, it had autostart in it when I bought it but I didn't get the fob with it therefore I ripped it out. So I went out purchased a new autostart/alarm system and I hooked it all up according to spec everything works except when I push my start button it clicks my lights on once and then off again. My ignition doesn't come on and my starter doesn't engage. Do I need a relay? Or what the hell am I doing wrong. The old system was a few less wires and was ghetto rigged in but I've taken proper steps of soldering everything in but now I'm ready to rip it out.. Help please!!
