Back up cam reverse tap..

I tapped the right backup light. It's white with a red stripe on my 2018.

I tapped the right backup light. It's white with a red stripe on my 2018.

I tried that, it would come on then go black. Like the current doesn’t support the camera. Tapped the trailer wiring a boom success.

I just tapped into the reverse bulb from the rear light bulb-doesn't matter which side-just have to do it properly and seal it with tape-make sure it is the reverse white bulb. No problems in 5yrs. Unless your camera requires something different.
