Ball joints gone..

I was at my local shop today getting a reallignment and the guy tells me that 3 of my front ball joints are worn out and need replaced. He also quoted me 2200 bucks for the job so I will be doing it myself. It is a 2011 ram 1500 with a 3.5 inch leveling kit on it.

Should I replace the ball joints or would the control arms need replacement because of the leveling kit? Will I be fine just replacing the joints?

Lol at 2200. You can buy mevotech ucas complete for 50 bucks each. Also a 3.5 leveling kit is probably the reason their shot. You need to lower down some

negative. You would need a long travel suspension setup at that point. little more than 2200

You can get some uniball UCAs (total chaos, fabtech, icon) they will probably still be at an intense angle though
