Best Bumper for Frame Mounted Tow Hooks?

I'm going to have tow hooks welded onto the frame upfront and was wondering what bumper you guys would suggest I get to go with them. I'm not looking for something too aggressive looking, but something a little refined looking and fits nicely with the front of the truck. Similar to newer trucks where there are slots for the tow hooks, but the general shape is consistent with the front of the truck. I. Am not a big fan of the stock first gen bumpers, I find they look too "old", I guess. Has anyone swapped a second gen bumper onto a first gen before?

Not sure if mixing the different front end shapes will work well. Maybe custom fabricating a clean front bumper that suits your needs would be easier and stronger than the stock 2g bumper.
