So my 06 Megacab suffered the old stripping of the plastic gears on the front lift motor. I scoured the internet for advice and options, and low and behold I found a NEW generic seat lift motor that was almost a straight drop in for 15.00. YUP $15.00. Best of all the gears are METAL..WOOT!
Follow all the existing directions on removing the old motor. The new one requires cutting about 1 inch off the new shaft, and using small spade connecters to hook up power. Be sure to use heat shrink around the metal so they dont short out. I also used a bolt to mount the motor instead of a roll pin.
Ive included some pics and the link to the website to buy the motor.
