My friend just took this video from the Terry MT badlands...

Another excellent place to camp in the badlands is Makoshika State Park and/or Medora ND and Teddy Roosevelt National Park.

Nice video. I've seen the badlands on the SD side and it's kind of eerie.

We've taken the camper up to Georgetown Lake near Anaconda a few times. Really, really enjoy it up there.

Hwy 200 looking west toward flowing wells rest area and north toward the Missouri breaks and Ft. Peck Reservoir.

Then you have MT winter, we got a little of the the blizzard ND got, but nothing like Bismarck, Minot, Dickinson. Those idiots at standing rock were stranded. NDDOT stopped running plows at one point because of conditions. I guess they should have left when told.

The Missouri River Breaks are an area I really want to see. I travelled Hwy200 between Missoula and Great Falls and it is one beautiful drive. Drittal, are you out of Billings area?

Between Billings and Bismarck, in the badlands. It is about 110 miles to Rock Creek marina.

We took 200 all the way from Glendive to past Great Falls this summer on the way to Glacier/Flathead/Lake Mary Ronan. Then from Glacier we hit it again down to missoula. It is a pretty drive over there.

The river and creek bottoms are Whitetail and the hills are muley. I've pulled a handful of nice Mule deer from within a couple miles of here. My cousin was hunting with a friend this fall who got one of the craziest atypical white tail I've ever seen anywhere. His right side is a normal basket, left is ungodly!
