Like the title says, I am putting together an audio build. Just picked up two Kenwood amps, a KAC-5001PS for the sub and a KAC-2404S for components. Ive got a local audio shop putting together the wiring kit, running 1/0 to a block and 4awg to the amps with a 200amp fuse. This is going to be nice!!!! Stay tuned!!! Oh btw im keeping the factory head. You wont know its all there till you hear it!!! Bad ass right?

I already have installed the components. Polk DXi350 in the dash, Polk DXi651s in the front doors and Kicker 40CS6934 in the rear doors. I will be running an old 10'' Kicker Solobaric L7 in a FoxBox in the passenger side storage area for now. I may update the sub at a later date. The sub and front speakers (im hooking the dash and door speakers together) will be running at 2ohm and the rear speakers will be running at 4ohm. Will be using a LOC that the audio shop suggested I dont remember brand or model. I was going to use the Audio Control LCQ1 but they talked me out of that.

I am using the space behind the rear drivers seat to mount the Amps. I cut the factory sound deadening material just large enough to fit them. Took measurements for my bracket and did not have a piece of MDF large enough to work so I pieced it which is fine IMO. While the paint was drying I scuffed the paint behind the seat and cleaned it with denatured alcohol. I used liquid nails to secure it.

If you had the Alpine system, you'll need more than a simple LOC.

Just a guesstimate, about 4" over the vent and 1" everywhere else. There is a large hump over the vents for air flow. The main motive was to have a secure place to mount the amps out of the way.

Started to mount the amps, but decided to wait until the glue completely dries. The equipment mounted on the floor is a VHF fire radio FYI.

Ordered my sub enclosure a few days ago. Ended up going with Net Audio, I just don't like the look of the Fox Boxes. These enclosures are custom made to order, 4 layer fiberglass in the bottom and completely contoured and rounded edges. To top it off he has perfectly matched carpet. Multiple enclousures to choose from as well. Here is the model I ordered:

RamBox-Single-Shallow-02_zpscf4c637c.jpg

RamBox-Single-Shallow-03_zps47b849b9.jpg

I know ya'll are gonna ask.... It was $200 plus $40 flat rate shipping.
NET Audio

BTW these Photos are from the website.
