Here are some pics. Looks nose high because this is a driveway pic. Other than the front Bilsteins and new Terra Grapplers (33) the rest of the truck is stock. Probably not for long because now I have the bug.

Here is a before and after pic (kind of, I had to flip the bottom one).

Also as an aside, I just put on new Nitto Terra Grapplers on the truck the day before the shocks. I kept the stock size and as I looked at it this morning I thought they looked too small. I called discount tire to see if I could bring them back and go to 35’s. They said no problem so I’ll be taking it in in an hour and only have to pay the difference. Those guys are awesome.

Will do, but it will be tomorrow. They called and said the wrong tires were delivered and they get 2 deliveries a day from the warehouse so it will be on the morning truck. [emoji22]

Here is a comparison between the 33’s and 35’s (exact same tire otherwise). fa1b1d4170dcc0a7574b1ad06b752a93.jpgd41d828dadacf708e85ee6e4d7bd6bfa.jpgIt was a different time of day and actually surprised how well lit the picture looks since it was almost dark. Doesn’t seem as noticeable in the pictures as it does in person but I am glad I went with them.

Looks great! When you said you went with 33's do you mean 275/60 or do you mean a true 33"x12"? Same goes for the 35's was it a true 35"x12.5" or did you get a 285/65 or 295/60?

I'm just about to pull the trigger on 285/65 for mine and stumbled upon this thread....just in time.

On my 14 1500 QCLB I did the Mevotech UCAs and went 2.8 on the Bils with a 3/4” spacer in the rear and I have just the slightest touch of rake, easily less than an inch.

I also have 275/65/R20 Cooper ATPs, which measure about 34.” Unfortunately I needed tires before I did the level (45000 on the RSAs), and looking at it now I could have easily fit 35s on the OEM (Express) wheels.

I am nose high by about 1/2 inch. I have rear spacers waiting to go on. 27164621_10209989606049872_6477602137893193457_o.jpg

Please post a pic of your truck. I'm on the fence between 33 or 35

I’ll get one tomorrow.

I would go 35s but make sure you’re not too wide on the OEM rims or you’ll rub up front.

I run 275/65/R20 which is 34” and width is a touch, less than .5” wider than stock. I verified against a tire calculator and in person when they were changed.

35” size options
295/65R20 = 35.1X11.6R20
325/60R20 = 35.4x12.8R20
35X11.5R20
35X12.5R20
35X13R20
35X13.5R20
35X14.5R20

295/65/R20 and 35x11.5R20 would definitely fit as they are only .8” wider than 275/60/R20 OEM tires.

My sport came from the factory with 275/60r20s. You should be able to run those no problem

Here’s the pics as requested. These are Cooper Discoverer ATP 275/65/R20. As you can see from the side there’s more than enough room for 35s. From top of front tire to wheel well arch is about 7” the rear is just shy of 8.” From the front the wheels sit nearly flush with the fenders/side of truck, they stick out about an inch.

Front and rear as described and the other side.

I could have not done the rear 3/4” spacer and but I might have still been nose high so I took advantage and have a little rake after the Bils settled. The Bilstein 5100s have been on my truck about 5000 miles now.

Thanks for the pics. I have the bils at 2.8 with Icon 1.5" springs in the rear and bils. I'm thinking of 20x9 0 offset rims, but still debating on the tires. I was heavily favoring 305/55 because of gas mileage and no need for speed calibration. Last night I saw a 1500 with 35x12.5R20, I doubt it had a level and/or lift kit cause the tires looked "stuffed" in the wheel well.

The bad part is a 305/55 weighs the same as a 275/65, so the tire will look small in the wheel well but still negatively affect your mpg. I just switched to the 275/65 and the speedo is off by 1mph according to a gps, definitely not worth getting re-calibrated.

For the price of tires you could (and should) go with 35s for a few bucks more than 275/65 (34s). It would look better and you’d “buy once, cry once.”

The advertised price from a 275/65r20 and the 35x12.5r20 is $60 difference per tire. Not exactly a few bucks more. That's for Falken wildpeak at3w

$240 extra on the initial purchase (325/60R20) or another 1200-1400 on another set when you find you could have gone bigger (with a level or eventual lift).

Makes more sense to me IMHO.

To each their own.

I didn't say i disagreed, just that its not a few bucks. It's all relative, right?

I went with 34's for multiple reasons. To me 35's look a little stuffed (my opinion) on anything less than 4" lifts. I didn't want the extra drop in MPG by going with 35's, the loss going to 34's was enough. I never have any intention of lifting higher than maxed bill's in front and a spacer in the rear, so I will never have a need for 35" tires. So for my situation the 34's made the most sense to buy, 35's for me would have been a regretted purchase.

Like already said, to each his own. 1 guy wants to stuff 37's into a leveled truck and the next likes 33's stretched on 14" wide wheels with a 6" lift.
