I just checked the Mopar recall site...

https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html

...and the recall info for the collum shifter is up now. Of course "parts not yet available". Although the recalls are annoying, I can understand with something as complicated as a truck that you'll likely have a few. The part that ticks me off is the "no part available" BS and not knowing how long (or if ever) until they can fix it.

I took my truck into the local dealer and what they told me was that the 2017s didn't need any new parts and it was able to be fixed with just an adjustment to the software... one that sounds like some BS to me (but I could be wrong) and secondly when I check the Mopar Owners sight it doesn't show the recall as still incomplete.

It really doesn't bother me. I know which is the brake pedal and which is the gas pedal. I don't really need an interlock to make sure i have my foot on the brake....

I spoke to a FCA Recall specialist and the concern is that some vehicles will come out of park without the brake being pressed... I also had them check and my truck did only need to have the software updated. Some trucks need some kind of bracket installed but they only have the parts available for some 2017 and 2018 trucks.
