Hey fellas,
I did a search and could not find anything, so let me give the short version. *Bought a 1995 Ram 2500. Just got build sheet and it lists*DRDP 200MM Rear Axle as the rear axle. *The BOM number says Dana 60. *The guy I bought it from said it came from factory with "snowplow package" and so it has Dana 70. Now I know you can tell axle just by BOM # and also the diff cover has a bit more of a "lip" on Dana 70, so I figure it's a 60, but I don't know what the DRDP 200 mm rear axle means. I know it's the size of the ring gear, but 200mm puts at at just under 8 inches, so does anybody know what that means? Also, was there such a thing as a factory "plow package"? The build sheet says nothing about plow, but does have a "heavy duty service group"

What engine and trans combo? That determines factory axle selection. v8 D60/D60, v10 auto D60/D70, V10 manual D60/D80. Cummins follows the V10 pattern. 3500s were all D80 rear.
