Hey I'm installing my cab lights and I was wondering if this is the wire for the stock cab lights? I didn't think it was since it seems to have two that are always hot and one that is never hot on it. If it is how should I wire it? Thanks

That might be the plug for the factory overhead console, not for cab lights. I would run a new wire and use a relay in that line, tap into the running lights somewhere under the hood to trigger the relay for the new cab lights.

Our trucks have little holes where the wires would go. From there's it's just linking the wires and running it down the a pillar to wherever you'd like to get power from. Mine is spliced in to my driving lights

On my '00 I spliced into the running light circuit from the back of the headlights switch.
I only did this because they where LED units and had a VERY low Amp draw.

Do it then. Really the hardest part was just making sure the spacing between the lights was perfect. And btw I got my set from Summit for like $50. Came with a choice of style (I went with OEM dodge 2nd gen of course) and color (amber, clear, or smoked). And it comes with all the bulbs and wires and even an inline fuse and a switch.
And thanks man! I really appreciate it. Yours is pretty damn nice too. Especially since its different than many others

Did you get the regular amber bulbed smoked housing ones or the led ones? I first was looking at some led ones by putco, but I saw the ones for like $60 that are regular bulbed amber cab Lights, I am thinking about getting the cheaper ones, they are smoked amber bulbed, and I'll see how I like them and if I really want too I can get the putco leds, I've seen trucks with white led cab lights that are sweet, I have even seen one hid can light set

I got regular bulbed amber lenses for $50 at Summit. Brand "hi five" I believe. Also had options for clear or smoked lenses. I chose to get the amber and then spray a little night shade over mine to give it the smoked look but retain the amber color

When you say there's holes for the wires, does any wire show or does the cab light have somewhere it sits like in your pic and sits flush?

Sorry I thought I replied but I guess I never hit send or something lol.
And I'm not sure exactly what you mean. No wire shows. You drill the hole for the wire and pull the slack out from the inside.

It's not bad to drill the holes. I just suggest having a beer or two so you can gather the balls to start drilling into your roof lol.

You got a pic of your cab lights by chance? And I am thinking about wiring them into my parking(corner) lights?

I have a few. Here's one with them on at night and off during the day. Ill get some up close pictures tomorrow. And yeah that's what I did. I think it looks great with them on, along with the halos and some fog lights.

Yeah that looks awesome, exactly what I was thinking. I need to get fogs, idk if it's the wiring or just the lights but they were bunk when I bought the truck, along with the fog switch so I replaced who headlight switch part and lights still out, I am thinking about getting the halo fogs, I have two spots on my bumper by my liscense plate I can mount two lights I want to get a pair of the rigid lil cubes,

Edit : posted the wrong reply first time

And yeah the rigid LED cubes are definitely nice and give great light output but I really like that mine look stock when mine are off. Which they are stock, just HIDs and they are damn bright. I guess check if you're getting power to them. If not Idk. I would assume you checked fuses and relays
