I have an '08 4.7 with a towing package and 3.55 rear end. The camper is 29ft roughly 7000 lbs loaded. I've towed it on flat roads and can't even feel it but I'm getting ready to take it to Missouri into some hills. Will the truck be able to handle this?

I have the same motor and gears but my truck is a 2010

I dont know how you can possible say you dont feel it. I recently towed a travel trailer weighing 3220lbs about 9hrs on flat/small hills and the truck struggled to hold 65 and stayed in 4th 99% of the time.

Now as far as being stable the truck handled it fine but it moves like a slug.

At half the weight i already know i will be getting a diesel (eco or cummins undecided) in the next year to handle this problem.
