I'm pretty sure the tongue weight would be way too much as well as air brakes and the big one you would need some crazy ass hitch and a flat deck.

Flatbed with a gooseneck hitch. But yeah that ******* would be way too heavy. But the camper thing would be cool.

Lots of people will buy cargo trailers, and convert them in to "redneck travel trailers" by finishing the inside, while still maintaining cargo hauling ability.

I'm one of them. :) My redneck travel trailer is awesome. Hauls two quads, and doubles as a camper. Sounds pretty similar to what you want to do...

Before, but what is still hauls:

I'm really not trying to come off as an ass (but I realize this may sound like I am)...but here's why:

1.) No way to "hook it up" to your truck.
2.) Your truck does not have air brakes (the trailer does!)
3.) Your truck cannot tow 12,000+ lbs (that's approximately what the trailer weighs).
4.) You'll be over your GCVW (that's illegal).
5.) You won't be able to turn, as your truck isn't a flat bed (reference #1).

and...most importantly....

6.) Your truck does not have "Volvo," "Mercedes," "Kenworth," or "Freightliner" on the hood. :)

I can't believe this was a serious question.

You'd need a 3500 dually to somewhat safely pull it, and I'd be scared to with that.

not even. you really need at least a 5500 to pull that.

Yes, no air brakes, but the 3500 (properly equipped) is rated at 30,000lbs. Air brakes are easy to get around. You could convert the trailer to electric.

I helped my buddy do that to his car hauler, we put in a sink, hot water heater, outside spicket for a portable shower and he got a kitchen table that would fold flat to the wall, open up to a table and then could be folded into a bed

not even close. Rams have the lowest payload capacity of any 1/2 ton truck (sucks I found this out after I bought my 13 laramie).

I would not even try towing that without a semi tractor. The tongue weight alone would collapse your rear suspension.
