So I have bils set at 2.1". Finally time for some new tires. I'm debating on 275 65 r20 or 285 65 r20. The price difference is pretty significant. If not I would just go with the 285's so I'm looking to see what the tires look like on the truck from the front, side, and rear angles. Any pics you guys could post with either one of the tires and stating what you have would be a huge help. Thanks in advance.

My bils are set to 2.8". I have 35" Nitto Trail Grappler (35x12.50r20) on 20" Cali Off-road Obnixois wheels.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Curly, any rubbing issues? Did you have to trim anything to fit 35's. I'm looking to level mine and get some rims and tires very soon

Appreciate the pictures. However this is not the direction I want to go. Looking at only those two size tires I previously mentioned

Here are mine, 275/65/20 on factory 20's I also have 1.5 wheel spacers, no need for the spacer other than looks the tires had plenty of room.
General Grabber AT2's I love them.3010861bad0678ae6c528e3843e019b3.jpg33a416a89058758ac273886879bdc4bb.jpg81f61c7f62478cb1a959d9e14b2cbc34.jpgd42e150190e11a10f28f7ccec4a44cce.jpg

I run stock height on my 2015 Ram 1500. I have 20x9 fuel coupler rims with a +1 offset. I have the stock tires 275/65/20 on the truck now. If I go 285/65/20 on the rims with no lift. Do you think I'll rub?

I ran 285/65/20's on stock 20x9's with Bils set @ 2.1" and they did not rub anywhere. Took a little trip offroad to stretch her to the max and still no rub.

The differences in those two sizes is less than half an inch.

How significant is this cost difference? Are we talking a $20 difference or a $400 difference?

Is half an inch really worth it?

About 250 dollars. The 275's seem to have more variety of brands as well.

I don't have any pics but I am running 285/65/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock rims with bils set at 2.8 and 1" TGC spacer in the rear. You can run this size at 2.1 with no issue. There isn't much difference in size once mounted, it's like .5" I think.

So if I keep the stock suspension where it's at. I shouldn't run at all.

I'm running the 275-65-20 Goodyear Duratracs on stock rims with 1.5" spacers for winter.

The 275's look great.....look even better when they save you $250.

They are 275 60 r20. On Wednesday I'm adding 285/65/R20 to the truck on the same aftermarket rims with a +1 offset. On stock suspension if you can wait I'll post those. In the meantime here's a couple more. 764467a24ff069d78ade26be86b1daa3.jpg237f3bc931cff7c67fd3acd3f837566b.jpg
