There is a national company that offers insurance to people that have a carry license, that I see advertised all the time. Has anyone checked them out or does anyone have insurance through them. They are suppose to have attorneys for you that will represent you in case you are involved in an "incident" etc etc. I just looked for the name and as usual when your looking for something on the computer you can't find it---

Sounds like the same people that offer home warranties or pet health care. Save your dough and get a good attorney if and when you need one.

Check with your local attorneys. Buddy up with one of them. And see how they feel about guns and the laws. Keep one on a free retainer. That's kind of what I've got going on.

Texas Law Shield does this and has for several years now. You pay your dues and it covers your ass should you ever have to squeeze off. They have been very good from the people I've talked to about them.

But in all honesty, the only insurance I need is 357sig. I only use it in an extreme case and it guarantees my life to live another day. I'll walk away from a situation 9 out of 10 times and try to find every way possible that final time to get out of the situation, but, there's some people out there and you just can't fix stupid.

Interesting , never heard of this but as mentioned a good lawyer goes along way. But this has sparked my interest and need to look into it. I do know state farm is pro gun and insures my guns and the use of them on my property no question asked.... well I think there are questions if I shoot someone on my property and they sue... but dead intruders don't sue

But fortunately, most states that have castle doctrine, you are exempt from liability upon being a justified shooting.
