With tax season underway, I have been contiplating using my refund for new MODs for the truck. But recently, after getting to handle a pistol I've been wanting, I'm considering that option now instead. So what are your thoughts on the two options below:

    1) Springfield Armory XDs 45 ACP

    or

    2) 87 Throttle Body

If I had to say which one I need at this moment more than the other I'd say pistol, because the current pistol I have is a Ruger P95, and that is definitely not an easy CC weapon. But I do love to MOD the truck. Let me know your thoughts.

I think it all depends on how much you will actually carry. I have a CC permit but I'm more interested in leaving my pistol concealed in my vehicle rather than carrying in and out...so I would go with a truck mod because I'd get a lot more use...that's just me though.

Choose the gun, reason being, the new TB could make the truck go too fast and kill yourself.
With the gun you can kill other people, (the ones that deserve it) instead of yourself.

I'd go with the gun personally. My and my wife's safety mean a lot more to me than a go fast part for my truck

Gun. If you haven't already look at the S&W M&P shield. They make it in 9 & 40. It's exactly the same physical size of the Xds and about $200 cheaper. Not to meantion its made in the USA. I was looking at buying an Xds until I came across the Sheild.

XDs is a nice little gun, sights are easy to acquire target, the throttle body may look kinda bulky for concealed carry mode..haha

I say gun as well. Truck gets you where you need to go already. Be protected when you get there. I have a P95 and that is not a carry gun by any means. Thing is huge, lol.

Well said! Your truck will get you there either way. You never know when you need to protect your family's safety. My CC goes EVERYWHERE with me where allowed. Not scared or paranoid, just prepared. The world is going crazy man, be ready at all times.
