Just put a comp. series muffler on. Yes louder than stock but sounds good. I have a 72 gmc with a stroker small block with 3" exhaust and flow masters that is louder and my Harley with baffles only is louder so take it with a grain of salt, old and can't hear as will as I use too... LOL

I received the Carven Progressive muffler yesterday and installed it today. It's louder than stock but not annoying by any means in the cab, I can hear my wife scolding me for buying it just fine. Sounds great when you hit the gas. Thanks Nick!

I expected the competitor to be louder than it is. After it' been running for a little bit, I barely notice it at idle.

ready to pull the trigger on the carven... so the competitor is louder than progressive?
they both have baffle and muffling qualities it is not like str8 pipe right?
Same drone if any with either?

Bought the Competitor and have gotten a lot of compliments from the guys at work. Most of them all drive lifted trucks with mods. Very happy when I hit the gas. Thank you Nick@GotExhaust!!
