wanting to install a e-cutout before the cat, but the cat seems to be welded directly to the y-pipe from the manifolds, where can i get a new y-pipe that will fit my stock manifolds ? i will be getting shorty headers in a couple months so i need something that will work with them as well and i'll be moving the cat a lil further down the line... any suggestions?

i want the y-pipe to come out at the stock position, and directly into the e-cutout then to the cat, and into my si/do magnaflow. does this sound right?

Why do you want to put it infront of the cat? That is going to throw a code when you open the cutout.

only certain counties here in MO do a sniff test - or even look for the cats. I think thats only in STL and KC (and surrounding counties) - he's outside of those and should be able to play.

yes they are very leaniant down here in the styx and dont do any emissions testing, only safety inspection..

i would just use the non-fouler trick for any codes that would pop. i want full unrestricted flow when open, just need to fine a y-pipe and cant track one down

I moved my 30" Magnaflow si/do muffler as far back as I could. Then I moved my cat back behind the trans cross member. This gives me a straight 3" pipe forward to my y pipe. I have plenty of room for a ecutout and since you have a QC you would have room for the cutout and LT's. I did mine in preparation for the LT install.
