Central Texas Ramforum Meetup - Bring your families

@Pull Ya and I have been tossing around this idea of setting up a truck meetup. We found the perfect place in Central Texas!

WHAT: Family friendly Ramforum member rally

WHERE: Luckenbach, Texas (just outside Fredericksburg)

WHEN: July 21st, 2018

ADMISSION: Free! You're a RAMFORUM member, right!?

We'll work on the logistics in the posts below. We have a great picturesque watering hole with plenty of parking, shade, refreshments, music and seating. We'll wet our whistles in Luckenbach, then caravan through some beautiful, backroads and end up at the Alamo Springs Cafe which serves some of the best burgers in Texas. After that, you're on your own. Fredericksburg has lots to offer, including wineries, shopping, museums, and bed & breakfast locations.

We look forward to seeing you, your family and of course YOUR TRUCK!

Logistics here.

Plan is to have folks meet in Johnson City and we will caravan into Luckenbach. Goal is to be in Johnson City at 1030 AM.

We'll then cruise to Luckenbach, grab a beverage, take some photos and of course look at some trucks!

Then we'll take a short drive to Alamo Springs Cafe (they will be expecting us, so our member count will be helpful) for a DELICIOUS lunch!

I'd love to attend, but family will be in town during July and I so far haven't been able to amass road trip money like that.

Pretty close I actullly have some cattle across the street from Alamo springs cafe. So the meet at Alamo springs should be easy. I’ll just change feeding time. The 21st is my daughters bday

When I moved up here I actually drove from Corpus to Golden non-stop. Dropped off my car and hopped a plane back. Then did it again in a loaded up rental van with two dogs. But my health issues weren't as severe then. As is, the 1.5 hour trip to see my Jeep is more than I can handle...

I can't do those long drives anymore either. Those rest areas look better and better the older I get.
