Sorry guys for no update. She has been taken to a shop to get finished. Being summer my boys keep me busy. Here she goes getting towed and have been told 3-4 weeks. So that will have her running by the end of this month. The shop is going to clean up the engine bay and basically eliminate every wire that isn’t needed. I’ll be taken more pics this month and more updates.

I do plan on ordering my rear bogarts end of this month just so I can bust ass to make a mopar event and get her dialed in. I do t expect a PB but hope for great time with the opportunity to improve for some record breaking ET.

I did however change the color of my intake to color match vs before was hemi orange. 3d50d9441f0bacfb293151ac5c048634.jpgac009259ba6cc0d88a9e54df125c9de4.jpg

X100 , I was worrying about you the other week, no updates thought maybe you threw in the towel.

Man I’ve had a few nightmares due thinking to much of the amount I spent. Then I drink a when I wake up and forget about it [emoji23]. Seriously it will be my last major build unless I’m loaded. Having a favorite car or truck down for going on 4yrs sucks. I’d be happy with a HC 6.1 vs this big stroker. I’d keep that in mind next time. 39eb731beaf7128dc61bcbbb2a13f222.jpg

I feel your pain, My Purple 05 GTx was down for a year, I sold the 426(6.1) then my work related skin issues happened and that gave me the time to build this 392 and put the truck back together. if it wasn't for the skin issue the GTx would still be down.
Next Motor for the GTx will be Big alum Thitek head

I hear you guys, I'm reluctant to pull mine down anymore. It seems to take forever to get it back together. I still want to change the front coilovers a little and there's a engine change this winter. And I'm waiting for Martin Saine's new VB to be finished testing. Always something....

**** I’ve seen some 392 put up good numbers depending on how aggressive you build it. I’ve seen one put down 540 rwhp on a 06 charger RT. Those thitek heads are badass. I’m so glad I got them cause the quality of them is amazing but they are 6lbs heavier than apache btw. I was bored one day and weighed everything lmao

Don’t do it man! I’ve seen every single person that gives up or sell **** to only share a memory on FB and say I regret it. So give it time and it will be done. August 29, 2019 will be 4 yrs for me. I wanted to give up bad but now I see the light and get that feeling back knowing I’ll be driving her again

Haha I agree... been working on mine for 15 years and have set it aside a couple of times waiting for the motivation to come back. Getting old and medical **** slows me down but I'm still getting things done...

My 392 is 4.08 bore X 3.75 stroke 6.30 length rods , it put out 720ish RWHP it made just over 790hp on the dyno on C12 Fuel, Best pull was a 796.16@ 7900 (2.03 Hp per Ci ) 14.5 to 1 with the Apache Heads 2.18/1.65 Valves lift is .660 Intake and .645 Exhaust 275/265@50 , with the Arrow Intake and Sonny's 6500TB it went 10.67@127 and still pulled 20 Degrees timing at the 1000 ft mark, I swapped over to the Drag Pak intake found the timing issue , bad fuel injector , next time out it went 10.55@130 off the trailer next run was 10.60 @129 then we had to pack it up...I need to get it back out to the track, I know there is a 10.20 in it with the DP intake.....I'd like to sneak my nephew's 441Ci G3 in it for run or two, we are pulling 860HP @ 7600 , I think it'll clear 800RWHP with my t-56 behind it. Keep in mind that my GTx has a manual steering rack, Electric Water pump and All the Air conditioning crap Is LOOONNGG gone, so alternator and external oil pump are the only drag on the engine , besides the t-56 which is 5/6 gear delete,Pfitzner Dog box ,Dana 60 that I run a 70 Gear set in and only 1.0 quart of gear lube at the track ...the few times it hits the street it gets filled to a good level.

Forgot to add the GTx weighed 4395 with me in it for that 10.55 run.

Monster truck! Makes my street truck want to hide.. I think I can pull a good number if I can make a full pass. But isn't that everyones goal. My 60' does look promising.. for 10's..

Not much to update but The motor and transmission are installed and sealed ready to fire up. Unfortunately the shop I took it to to finish is taking there time since I’m requesting a lot of detailed custom work. I’m installing all new brake lines they must bend and install. Tucking and hiding all the wires, redoing all my fuel system, I ordered new billet valve covers since I’m doing a lot for the shows as well. Sorry for the delay but guarantee you guys won’t be disappointed when she done in the performance and looks department. I did get all the custom sized hoses to fit a ladder power steering pump from a LX, that alternator is a one wire alternator.
