I noticed that iphones don't do the "noise canceling" when recording like my phone does, which is one thing about my phone that drives me nuts lol

Ok here’s the video. Nothing blew up or anything catastrophic [emoji41][emoji1303] but I am having issues with the idle. If it drops below 1400 rpms it’s backfires and dies. So I have some trouble shooting to do.

Man with that much black smoke, its running rich as hell, and it's probably dumping way too much fuel at low rpms and flooding out

Yeah my fuel trims on bank 1 are crazy high. I’m trouble shooting whether it’s mechanical, electrical or tune related. Unfortunately with how much work was done and changed around there are a lot of things to go through. All for Monday’s work

Looked like white smoke to me. Either way, probably not good to let it all vent into the shop like that, lol. Whole video had me wondering where the damn 20" box fan was.

Can't wait to hear it properly, Chris. Hope you saw my comment on the vid, haha.

It was black at startup, no doubt its running really rich. After the truck died after the video stopped we pushed it outside. Since we haven’t bleed the brakes yet I couldn’t back it out of the garage. Burning off oil and no cats tends to make it smell even better haha

Here is some motivation, my black truck smoked out a 3 bay shop once i first started it up, i could show you some interesting videos, had me worried at first, but once you get it leveled out, you will be smiling cheek to cheek like i was

Well progress is slow. Troubleshooting the backfire has gotten no where, I’m stumped so far. So today we backed off and did some body work. So far so good on that project. I got new inner fender wells to replace the rusted ones. Got them welded together and on the truck, and started on one bed panel. The panel is pretty hard to weld, the bed sheet metal is very thin and burns through easily. I’m trying to track down a smaller MIG welder to help. e7130226ab3d62856f5b1ef58e96003f.jpg
