Well my hats off to her! When I attempted my little exhaust clip I didn't even think about it and set the camera up front by the motor and fan as opposed to the exhaust [emoji23][emoji23] smooooooth hahaha

Heck here's another video. Almost there! I even managed to get it out of the garage and took it for a 5 mile drive, wasn't too bad but a ways to go. It will finally idle by itself, I was able to get out of the truck and take the video myself haha

Huh what's going pm with the exterior could be mistaken but I thought you'd done it body work and what not... Might have been a different build log though

Nice, but, terrible lighting. And, might I suggest led side lights that light white when running, and change to amber for the turn signals?

Oh. And an eyelid. All 06+ heads look better with that top part color matched or black, imho.

Yeah the front end is a huuuuuge improvement, and the lights are in another league compared to the early style. It really lets you show off the custom paint job

Whats terrible about the lighting, HID projector retrofit making about 6x the output of what he used to have?

The turn signals are normal turn signals and will be completely visible since he has the signal area painted gloss, as far as eyelids go, id never put them on a custom light, it would be a shame to do all that custom work inside the light just to cover part of it...


That being said, Chrisp, i would switch to an LED bulb in the signal whether you go to switchbacks or just a solid color bulb, that will remove all heat away from the paint, ive seen halogen bulbs discolor paint from them getting to hot.

I probably should switch to a LED for the turn signal, I remember Dana said he switched to a nice bulb, may check it out
