I have what I hope is mud in my rear speaker grill where my young son sits. I've tried wiping it down with soapy water, being careful not to get too much water in the speaker, but the mud hasn't really come out.

Looking for advice on how to clean this. I didn't see an obvious way to remove the grille and I'd rather not take the door apart if possible.

Thoughts?

Try some blue tack. I use it to clean my earbuds, etc... may not work with mud.

The best option is probably to take the panel off and clean it.

I have a 4 and 6 year old that sits in the back. All I got to say is you have to take the door panel off...I know from experience.

Good brushes/interior cleaning tools or q-tips should do the trick.

I clean mine with soapy water and a towel, but I wring it out before using. Then wipe down with a dry towel and use compressed air and my blow gun to clear the holes. Also do the same for all the cracks and crevises. You don't need to get very close with it.

It's not bad at all, you have to remove a couple of screws and pull a lot of pins along the outside edge around the door panel. There are
some good you tube videos on it.

I've used q-tips but I think any of the above recommended will work

Old toothbrush with a vacuum cleaner held nearby to pick up mud particles.
