You know that little sticker that is supposed to be under the driver side visor that has cold weather starting instructions ?
Well mine is gone ... just want to read it and go over the procedures , so if any one wants to copy it for me I would be thankful .

OMG...

Basically it states to use your grid heater and wait for the WAIT TO START light to go out and the start the truck. Allow it to idle long enough to build oil pressure... Then drive.

On serious cold mornings (< 0*F) cycle the grid heaters twice and the start. Allow it to build oil pressure... Then drive...

Let me find my camera I'll get you a pic of it...

I thought it said something like the driver of this bad ass truck is not responsible for any inherent wardrobe malfunctions of females in the passenger seat.

No joke...

If the truck doesn't start easy and requires push starting, starting fluid, etc. The fix the problem don't whine on the starter... If you can't fix the problem bring it RF.com and will fix it for ya... (LOL!)

So CTD dudes how well do these bad boys start in temps 0 and below? I ask because if I end up getting one would it start if not plugged in for like 8 to 10 hours while at work?

I am thinking no so it is okay to say no.

Keep in mind I live in Fargo, ND so many days from December thru February are 0 to -40ish colder with wind chill.

It'll start fine. Just cycle the key a couple times to build heat in the intake, and it'll fire up.
Additives for fuel anti-gelling is something to consider in temps that low.

Even without a block heater or a fuel additive (anti-gel) no problems here just like Rogan said cycle the key through 2 WAIT TO START's and fire it up.
