Considering a lift

Hey you guys I'm a infrequent poster long time lurker. I'm strongly considering lifting my 02 qc 2wd ram 1500. Currently have a Supreme suspension leveling kit on it but it rides like **** on a poorly maintained paved road in a residential area. I can go down this road at 20-30 mph and you'd think I was on a ******* safari. Any way my knowledge of lift kits and their manufacturers is limited so I figured I'd ask the interwebs. I hear rough country while durable isn't known for ride comfort I've Been in a Tacoma with an icon lift dune running on a beach at 70mph which is was damn smooth considering what we were doing so yeah would like to end up somewhere between rough country lift and $5k icon lift. Or is lifting a 2wd truck a bad idea even if I intend on using it?
