Couple of questions

New here, and new to a Ram truck...I bought a 06 Quad cab 1500 4x4 big horn, just the 4.7l. Recently here it has turned cold, and I now have a new popping noise that I can feel in floorboards, but only if its below 45 degrees???. Second question, when I start truck, it has an erratic idle...it will rev between 500 and 1500 rpm back and forth...no warning lights on dash...?

Hello and welcome to the forum. The popping noise you only hear in the cold is probably lca bushings or of the like. The sporadic idling could be a number of things, the best answer for that would be to have in put on a live data scanner to see what the sensors are doing or not doing.
