Custom Center Console for Manual

I was thinking about building a custom center for my dodge with a 5 speed manual. Id like to see pictures of others to give me an idea. I have something made up in my mind but i'd like to see some others.

i wonder if your shifter is in the same spot as on a srt-10. they have a decent console type thing

Not a 5 speed but you get the idea .. I made a box for a 12" sub

i was thinking something that went all the way to the dash, i think it would just need a big enough hole for the shifter to go thru and function.

But i like that u incorporated a sub into yours. I was thinking about 1 down firing and one out the back, dont know if that will sound good tho.

When im done this will have a cb slot, switch bay and GOOD cupholders, all the stuff chrysler left out.

I've got a center one also, but I'm a 3rd gen automatic, so prolly not much help. Looking forward to seeing what you have in mind tho.

so its been a few days, i put a lot of hours into making templates and such, only to realize that in ordet to have the box incorporate the shifter, the left side of the console would be too far over to the left and would interfear with the tcase selector lever. so as far as i can tell 5 speed + 4x4 it wont work. Now a 5 speed 2wd it would work perfect.

I really like the floor shifters like some of the 4th gens have. What ever you come up with, keep us updated!

I'm actually in the process of doing just that; building a center console for my '01 6speed. The console will house a single 10" sub, as well as provide a location for my CB, scanner, and snow plow control unit. I'll also have a slot for my S&W 4566TSW while I drive, rather than my fat hip..

I am trying to get some time (this weekend) to start some assembly on it. I've done some crazy custom stuff, back when I was an MECP-Certified MI, but I don't want anything that elaborate in my DD now..
