custom front bumper mounting

Does anybody have any pictures of a second gen with no front bumper or a close up of how a home made or custom front bumper is mounted. I've searched all day online and have amassed now a collection of pictures of custom front bumpers but cannot find any pictures of the actual mounting. Anything would help thank you.

I would try and modify/cut off your stock bumper mounts, then just fabricate the custom one around that.
