Custom painted retrofit headlights

heres the headlights ive been working on forever it feels like lol. had to completely start over on them after primering as i found i ended up getting some snake skin from going to heavy on the AP to quickly. so that sucked lol, had to sand all my work back down to bare plastic again and start from scratch. BUT, they ended being well worth it and turned out great! so they are just replacement headlights with morimoto H1 mini projectors and 35W HID's. i have 1400 lumen amber LED's for the blinkers but just to lazy to wire up the resistors lol ill get to it.

also HUGE thanks to Jeremy at retroshop.us that guys customer service is seriously unbeatable. Will never buy anything from anywhere else if i can get it from him just because his customer service, that goes a LONG ways for me.

BAM, got all the way to this point just to find the reaction and have to do it allllllll over lol and sanding all that primer and AP 100% off was not fun. But that's what happens when you try to go fast

colors are RAM PW7 bright white and RAM PXR brilliant black pearl with 2k clear. Also i sprayed 3 coats of 2k clear over the lenses after sealing up

Switchbacks are something i honestly never even thought of but now that you mention it lol ill look into it. the amber LED's i have for em now (havent installed because was to lazy to install the resistors lol) are super bright, my buddy has em in his silverado so that was the plan but switchbacks would be pretty sick. thanks bro!

I run switchbacks in everything but my red truck, you will really enjoy the bright white parking light for sure on that truck

Wow!! Those look absolutely amazing! When I did mine I painted them black inside to body match it, but they don't stand out anything like that white does. Great work!

Yeah i actually went into this project with full plans of doing the EXACT opposite of paint as what i did lol. was planning on all black with white bowls and reflectors but then i thought "man every single truck out here that doesnt have chrome heads has black, like every single one lol." so went white and am super happy i did. and being able to see at night now is a major plus lol

Well for now I installed my amber LED's and holy crap they are pretty impressive for being I think I paid 25 bucks. Easy 3 times brighter then my stockers
