Here is a box calculator that I like to use. Speaker Enclosure Volume Calculator
My personal feelings are build it out of a high quality 3/4in MDF. Then paint the corners with fiber glass resin to seal it up perfectly and oh glue with tight bond 2 that stuff will tear apart the mdf before it will ever let go.

    Who, where? :)

Cool thanks! It looks like the one's I am looking at are 3/4" mdf... I definitely will not have the time to build this myself, so I have to find someone who will build it to my specs (or maybe modify an existing design).

Best bet is something like the first picture to me it just says clean and quality.

Edit just looked in your location David and there is a shop called 310 Kreations that gets good reviews.

Worst case, if u decide to go prefab, I would add some caulk or resin to make sure edges are sealed and prob add some bracing to the Inside. Then throw a Little polyfill in there to top it all off

I agree, that is my fav. But I am also thinking how I can make it still useful to throw a bag or something back there...

Thanks, I'll check them out... strange that they don't have a website, but definitely awesome reviews on Yelp!
Good point. I hope to have someone make it semi custom, so I can have a say in the design and quality.

Now why would u go do something crazy like that?! Lol, There's a few things in my build I wish I could do over but I just hate ripping everything apart over and over. Plus if I take it apart again, changes will be drastic
