Custom Tune Info
Transmission:
Custom trans tune includes raised line psi, firmer shifts, more responsive downshifts and altered converter lock/unlock.
Engine:
Custom TM settings, custom spark part throttle and WOT (includes dwell change for hotter spark) and fuel which is a bit different than canned tune, custom knock sensor settings, exhaust transport delay increased for LT headers. stock stoich (14.5:1) or other custom stoich for either power or better MPG. canned stoich is 14.7:1. You will feel a bit better more part throttle power (and less mpg) at 14.5 or richer, have gone as low as 14.0:1 by request. less part throttle power and better mpg at 15.0:1.
He can lower fan temps for 180* t-stat, turn off EGR, rear o2's and MDS.
He has tunes that should be pretty close and have little knock and make good power if a catch can is installed.
We need to encourage people to get catch cans (something we can provide you as well)
