I feel like the springs on this truck look a bit weak or flat... Its a 05 reg cab 4x4 ram short box. It doesn't have that many miles and it hasn't towed that much if ever. Let me know if its just the way this model is please. Thanks guys

well not really but this truck does have a leveling kit on it as well but Ive peaked at other rams and they look like they have more of an arch to them but i cant really find and other short bot reg cabs to see.

They should be half moon shape like the above pic ^

No leafs should have a wave in them .. should be half mooned like this ( not {

Damn it..... Are these hard and expensive to replace?? any thoughts besides the dealer on where to get new ones? Thanks for your help guys

was the truck lifted at one point with blocks in the rear. mine are a little flat(not as bad as yours) i have lift blocks in the rear on mine.

Im not sure.. I don't think so but i bought the truck used from a dealer.

When I first saw these pics, I was looking at them on my phone and didnt notice how flat the leafs were over the axle. Having said that, I just went out and looked at my brothers leafs, and his look the same. He has an 03 rc/sb 2wd and has never had more than 500lbs of weight in the bed. I have no idea why the leafs would flatten out under just the load of the bed itself.

Yeah im not sure either why they would be this flat either. Ill either get some after market springs or install some firestone air bags to make up for it. Like you I've also seen some this flat and some not this flat. I think it would take a very violent load or abuse to permanently ruin the springs but who knows the history when you buy a used truck.

Oh so you too!! lol thanks for posting. I think they are just that way. I've got some ride rite air bags on the way. i do pull a trailer and haul firewood from time to time. thanks man
