dome/map lights

Damn LED bug, haha anyway while working on my led cup holder/door panel/ footwell lights (still in progress i promise pics as soon as done) i realized i want to replace the dome and map lights with leds, but after reading various threads about the buggers odd way of acting depending on the site they come from i was curious where to get the led dome and map replacements. Thanks guys

The only way to get them working "nicely" is to wire in resistors. I had a set in my 08, flickered like mad, I returned them.

i put blue in my maps and dome but used 5mm prewired 12v leds and added them in the maps and dome seperatly so i still have the white light so i can still see stuff at night if need be.

Recon makes a nice LED kit to change your interior lights over. You can check them out, haven't heard to many bad things about them.

if you cant figure out how to make LEDs work off a simple 12v connection, you have problems. try google. you can do it all yourself very easily.

I have the recon set in my truck. easy install, decent price. i have nothing bad to say about them.

Bought a 16' roll of leds this weekend. I am mounting them for footwell lights. I want mine to stay on will Parking/headlights are on. Anyone have which wire from the headlight switch I can pull from. I really don't want to run a wire from the parking light fuse under the hood, but if push comes to shove, I will. I have purchased a add a fuse link.
